MISSOURI MISHAP
Missouri Mishap, Lino Print Stop - Frame Animation, 2018
A short film illustrating the story of two brothers who are involved in an altercation in Saint Louis, Missouri. The brothers are Carl Polk (my father) and Perry Polk (my uncle).

The animation narrated by my father Carl Polk features 24 A4 lino prints. Some frames are duplicated to extend the length of the film.
Missouri Mishap Process Book
Halfway through the animation process I was asked to exhibit Missouri Mishap for Creative Debuts in Shoreditch.
Missouri Mishap features 188 frames all cut using lino. This process was time consuming but very rewarding producing results I have never seen before once sequenced together in an animation.

A short film using collage and drawing representing a neighbourhood in South London. Everyone who worked on this project was new to living in the city. We were visually representing how disconnected we felt to the people in the area.
