PROTEST
Once the screen prints had been finalised I decided to print them on corrugated plastic. I printed on this material so that the prints could be used for placards. The placards represent the protest against the far right controversy seen in the article I am representing.
Majority of the prints above are inspired by protesting against ignorance and various forms of discrimination. The screen-prints specifically are visually representing an incident with the British National Party.
The political party hired a black DJ by accident and mentioned that they thought that the DJ sounded white on the phone. These prints are visually interpreting that incident and protesting against those views.
BREXIT
A series of lino prints used for projected lighting. The lighting was used for portrait photography, below there is a draft pattern that was created when experimenting with pattern designs.
Brexit Process Book
These are the final photographs of the project. I asked the models to write their opinions on Brexit on the wall behind them. The lino printed patterns where projected on to the models.
All images are taken on 35mm film.
